Hanging Gardens

Ephemeral art project in public places organized by Saguenay, August to October 2021

During the summer of 2021, I am interested in the flowering of vegetable and herbaceous plants in my garden, using macro photography. At the same time, I photograph the surrounding horticultural landscapes. The coexistence of plant intimacy and landscape immersion will result in an exhibition presented in three versions near the public markets of the three districts: La Baie, Chicoutimi and Jonquière.

The artist thanks the Canada Council for the Arts for its financial support of the Exploring and Creating: Research and Creation program, which enabled her to carry out a year-long project based on her home garden and the surrounding vegetable crops.
