Black as Snow
Panache art actuel, Sept-Îles, 2019
Presented at the Jean-Marc Dion Hall in Sept-Îles and the Cliffs Multifunctional Center in Fermont, Côte-Nord, Quebec. Curator: Marco Pronovost.
When the snow melts in the forest, photographs capture surfaces of snow strewn with softwood needles. Through a digital process carried out in the studio, the whites and blacks are inverted. A series of images emerges that reveal structures present at different scales of the perceptible or imaginable world.
