Black as Snow

Panache art actuel, Sept-Îles, 2019

Presented at the Jean-Marc Dion Hall in Sept-Îles and the Cliffs Multifunctional Center in Fermont, Côte-Nord, Quebec. Curator: Marco Pronovost.

As the snow melts in the forest, photographs capture surfaces of snow strewn with conifer needles. Through a digital process performed in the studio, the whites and blacks are inverted. The result is a series of images that reveal structures present at different scales of the perceived or imagined world.
