Cultivated Flowers

Mars Park, La Baie district of Ville de Saguenay, January 18 to April 17, 2023

As a continuation of my work on plants and the territory I live in, I took an interest in the production of a local flower farm, Les Fleurs Maltais, using various photographic processes.These images highlight varieties of flowers grown at different stages of development, as well as the transformations obtained by handling them. Also, I favor winter as a period of exhibition, in order to create a contrast between the chromatic density of the flowers and the white park, as well as a shift with the period of flowering. All this, in order to offer to the walkers a plurality of sensations in contact with the twelve flowers unfolding in a winter landscape.
