School-Garden______Territory

Residency at Centre de formation générale des adultes des Rives-du-Saguenay, Chicoutimi, March 11 to June 6, 2024

With the students enrolled at Center 216, I pursue evolving artistic explorations based on the observation and expression of living forms. The productions are related to a double hydrographic map of the Saguenay region, located in the center of my studio, in order to imagine a new sensitive relationship with the territory. Part of the process is also inspired by the horticulture class. In addition, as part of the school’s annual participation in the Solidar Farms, some students produce field observation drawings and a collective drawing of a map of the site. This collection of works will form the basis of an exhibition that will be presented at the Solidar stand and then in a gallery.
