Threads in the Forest

Land art at home, Fall 2023

To strengthen my attention to and connection with the forest, I integrate threads like new lines into larch and spruce trees, and transform a tree that fell last winter into a memorial.I also use slices of wood to create a turquoise constellation linked to a group of familiar young spruces by the stream.
