Forest as School, Sainte-Hélène School in Saint-Henri-de-Taillon, 2019

This eight-week residency includes five approaches to drawing related to the forest.

1- Reproduce an animal from the surrounding forest that comprises an extensive bestiary.

2- Trace pine needles scattered on paper using various types of pencils.

3- Trace lakes using maps.

4- Make a charcoal drawing of e house in the trees.

5- Using a metallic felt pen, render the part of the cosmos visible from the forest at night.
